Good Morning and a belated Happy New Year xx

My first Elliott's Angels project for 2016.

A quick and simple "Thank You" card.

Ingredients used:

Scratch Card
Papers, ribbon, wooden button from stash
Adirondack (Denim) ink

I used the Mini Envelope as a holder for a scratch card which has been rolled
and tied with a ribbon (as a little "Thank You").

The Stylized Flowers have been coloured using
Adirondack (Denim) ink.

Elliott's Angels Project

Hello today I am sharing another Elliott's Angels project
using Victorian Letters which can be found here.

These dies cut and emboss beautifully and the letters are a
nice size 2.0 x 3.5cm.

I have made a "home" cube using different papers from
my stash to cover each side of the cube. I used
brown card to cut out the letters. I added
the word "home" on each side of the cube so it can be
viewed from all sides.

Ingredients used:

Victorian Letters dies, Classic Square Nestibilities,
brown card and paper from stash,
distress inks and a cube from my stash

The cube I used was already a nice burnt red colour so I
decided not to paint it.

I have thought about making a "Christmas" cube
using the word "Noel". You might be seeing that
soon!! Sorry couldn't resist mentioning
Christmas!!

Take a look at Elliott's Blog here for more ideas and
news.

Will be back shortly - nearly the weekend must find time
to do more crafting!!

Elliott's Angels Project

Hello sharing another Elliott's Angels project today using the Joy Strip die which can be found here.

Take a look at Elliott's Blog for more projects and news.

When giving a bottle as a present or just to say thank you I thought about
decorating the bottle instead of using the usual bottle bag.

I cut the die using some metallic gold card and I stuck a piece of silver card behind it to make the words stand out.
I used double-sided tape to stick the card to the bottle.

I made a tag using 2012 snowflakes dies placing a gem in the centre.

There is also a Peace Strip and Noel Strip die available.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday - back soon xx

Mannequin

Hello this weekend I took the opportunity to craft and to sort through a chest which I use to keep some of my crafty bits and pieces. Whilst looking through the chest I found a mannequin I had bought sometime ago with the idea of having a go at Decopatch. As you can see from the picture I changed my mind!!

I decided instead to cover the mannequin in some yarns I found in my ribbon collection. I carefully wound the threads around the mannequin sticking them in place with Cosmic Shimmer Glue (which can be found here). This glue dries clear and quickly so was ideal for this project.

The mannequin is now sitting on a table in my bedroom it looks very much at home!!

Take care - back soon xx

Edwardian Door

Hello a card to share today - the story The Secret Garden inspired me to make this card, having seen a copy recently with a lovely picture on the front cover. Using the Edwardian Door die I created a "forgotten door" covered in pretty foliage. Hope it doesn't look too messy!!

Ingredients used:

Edwardian Door die, Flower from Homespun die set
Flourishes from Jewel Flowers & Flourishes die set
Distress inks, papers from stash, 3D foam pads

Yesterday I spent far too long playing with the new Woodland Deer die which you can find here will be sharing projects soon. It has overtaken the Poinsettia die in my list of favourites (I didn't think that was possible!!). All of the Woodland collection looks amazing I will have to add them to my Christmas list!

Having lunch with a friend today as it is half term a whole week off to enjoy. Back soon take care xx
